Cover for your instrument if it’s borrowed or leased from a collector, dealer or patron

We know that not all musicians own their instruments. Those in this position will need peace of mind, which is why we evolved our musical instrument insurance policy to support them.

Free temporary cover for instruments and accessories you don’t own but are legally liable for

If you have an annual policy with us we can provide temporary cover, free of charge, for instruments and accessories you don’t own, but that you are legally liable for, for up to 60 days and up to £50,000 (or currency equivalent) sum insured.

The insurer covers the costs associated with claiming

Making a claim for an instrument can involve paying out some unforeseen costs such as travelling to your preferred supplier for a replacement/repair or updating your instrument’s valuation. We understand how stressful making a claim can be which is why our instrument insurance policy covers the reasonable and necessary additional costs associated with the settlement of your claim.

Terms and conditions

The offer of 12 months for the price of 10 months is open from 15^th November to 31^st December 2021.
To benefit from this offer you must ask for a quote either via the online proposal form or by calling us on 020 3846 5271 and referencing “two months’ free”.
The offer is open to customers who have not held a live policy with Lark Music for 24 months.
By entering your details in our form, you agree that Lark Music may contact you to provide you with a quote.
Two months’ free insurance applies to the first year of the policy only.
If a policy is taken out with us, the equivalent of two months’ discount will be applied to the related premium.
Two months’ free insurance is only available through an online proposal form or phone call, not our online quote and buy facility.
